The three ways the number moves

Kills raise viewers. The horde is not only a damage sandbox. Every pack you delete is a tiny subscription bump. That is why standing in a farm and never moving can still look fine on stage one: the chat is growing faster than the chip damage.

Contact damage lowers viewers. Body blocks from yukkuri-style walkers, cars, and oversized mid-stage spawns are the quiet killers. They do not look like Touhou spell cards, so players ignore them, then wonder why the phone cracked during “easy” trash. Deleting bullets can raise viewers again. This is the hidden clause. Multiple launch reviews describe regeneration when you destroy danmaku, sometimes so strong that standing inside an early boss is safer than kiting. If that is your first experience, you will learn the wrong lesson. The heal is a property of deletable shots. It is not a general graze button.

Why early bosses feel easier than trash

Trash often walks at you and never fires. No shots means no delete-heal. A boss that floods the screen with breakable bullets is accidentally a fountain. Players then walk into Remilia or a late Rumia pattern expecting the same fountain and lose the stream in seconds.

The boss roster marks which encounters community reports treat as “stand still” and which ones grow an undestroyable shadow, warp, or sister-pattern. How to protect the bar on purpose

Flame-out is not a story death

The phone-break animation is cute and final. There is no second wind once the counter hits zero. Treat mid-stage chip as seriously as a boss slam. If you are practicing for Endless mode, remember that endurance does not change the rule; it only lengthens the time you must keep the chat from leaving.

Steam achievements hint at the fantasy of huge subscriber counts, including completionist goals that launch players already call unrealistic next to normal income. Those are meta grinds. They do not raise the in-run viewer bar at the start of the next stream. If you want a starting bonus for being famous, it is not in the current build according to the reviews we are willing to cite.
